YUSUFALI : We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress,

PICKTHAL : We have not revealed unto thee (Muhammad [sallallahu alayhi wa sallam]) this Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed,

SHAKIR : We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful.

M& HILALI : We have not sent down the Qur'an unto you (O Muhammad [sallallahu alayhi wa sallam]) to cause you distress,
