YUSUFALI : Thus doth (He) send inspiration to thee as (He did) to those before thee,- Allah, Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.

PICKTHAL : Thus Allah the Mighty, the Knower inspireth thee (Muhammad [sallallahu alayhi wa sallam]) as (He inspired) those before thee.

SHAKIR : Thus does Allah, the Mighty, the Wise, reveal to you, and (thus He revealed) to those before you.

M& HILALI : Likewise Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise inspires you (O Muhammad [sallallahu alayhi wa sallam]) as (He inspired) those before you.
