108. Surah Al-Kauthar (A River in Paradise)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

YUSUFALI : To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance).

PICKTHAL : Lo! We have given thee Abundance;

SHAKIR : Surely We have given you Kausar,

M& HILALI : Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad ()) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise);

YUSUFALI : Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice.

PICKTHAL : So pray unto thy Lord, and sacrifice.

SHAKIR : Therefore pray to your Lord and make a sacrifice.

M& HILALI : Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).

YUSUFALI : For he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from Future Hope).

PICKTHAL : Lo! it is thy insulter (and not thou) who is without posterity.

SHAKIR : Surely your enemy is the one who shall be without posterity,

M& HILALI : For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad ()), - he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).
